21st Birthday @ Nerovivo
My 21st started off great! I had hubby sleeping next to me ^_^
Dinner was with hubby and his family. It was superb eventhough the bill amounted to more than RM500. That's for 5 person with 1 appetizer, 5 main courses, 3 desserts and a bottle of wine.
Rustic antipasto @ RM68. It's a plate of a few types of thier antipasti from thier wide selection of antipasti. The tasted-like-tuna-ham was really good. Haha!
The calzone @ RM24. Yes, it does looks like a big karipapor roti naan. Thier pizzas are wood oven baked, so it was very yummy. Dardar's dad had this as his main.
Roast Lamb Shank @ RM 44. Dardar's bro had this.
Penne Carbonara with Beef Bcaon and Mushrooms @ RM28. One of the best dishes served that night. The bacon taste so absolutely wonderful!
Angus Tenderloin @ RM58. As usual, hubby had his steak. Yummy but not as juicy as Shook's coz Shook uses wagyu beef in all of it's beef dishes.
Spaghetti ai fruiti di mare @ RM 40. I love this so much eventhough I pick most of the seafood out. The sauce was so sweet that I kept eating the spaghetti eventhough I was really bloated. Hahaha! A must try!
For Dolci, I had their homemade Bacio gelato.
Homemade Bacio Gelato @ RM 7 for a single scoop. It came with strawberry, mango and guava sauce. Very refreshing and nice.
Hubby's sis had thier Tiramisu @ RM 18. It's the best tiramisu all of us has ever tasted. They use real sponge fingers and good mascarpone cheese. Another must try at Nerovivo.
Last but not least, thier Warn Dark Chocolate Flan @ RM18 for hubby dearest. The chocolate sauce inside melts and tastes so good! Of course, I had it as my birthday "cake" for that meal. If you were to order this, order it 12minutes before you intend to have it. That's how long they need to prepare it. Must try!!
We had another bottle of wine when we got back. Of course that means hubby not having his sleep and dead tired for Bali the next day. Hehehe, oh he was a dear though, he pulled through after a cup of ice blended ultimate mocha at Coffee Bean.
The food that I had on my birthday was AWESOME! Company was great, although it could be better if my 2 sidekicks were around. I also had another cake when I got back, it was Chocolate Indulgence from Secret Recipe, my current favourite from that store.
Location: Bukit Ceylon, next to Bijan
Price: Slightly pricey, be prepared to cough out about RM100 per pax if having a full course meal
