Batavia..
We ordered some very Indonesian drinks, concentrated juices imported from Indonesia added with water and ice. They were all lovely as one of them is orange, another passion fruit while the red coloured one was some wierd named drink and yes, it tasted wierd too.
Our dearest friend was craving for Kuey Teow Goreng Sapi (Fried Kuey Teow with beef) so she had her dosage and I did had a mouthful of them and yes, it was very very yummy!!
This particular restaurant is actually famed for its Soto Betawi so the Wengster had the chicken version while I had the beef version. The meat for the beef version was too chewy and yes, I ommitted the meat after a few tries. Soup wise, absolutely divine! The sambal that came with it was even more spectaculor! Yes, the Indonesian type of sambal that BURST your nostrils each time you have some. Sambal, I love you!
*Soto Betawi*
All in all, good food at good price with good company. What can I say more?
